Onboarding guide

Before you call

The operating details.

Calls and reports must be manual. You are responsible for carrier costs. If a person answers, hang up immediately and report it.

Scout sessions and accurate balances

Up to eight numbers may be assigned per 48-hour cycle, when available; Scout seats are limited. Record balances before and after each call, waiting a full three minutes after the call for the carrier to update. Keep the carrier’s exact precision: no rounding, estimates or switching SIMs mid-session. Follow the app’s instructions for unlimited plans.

When a Scout session ends early

A voicemail or human answer can end the sequence for that number early and still qualify for the full 0.50 UP session reward once accepted. Stop the sequence and report accurately. This Scout rule is separate from Runner’s minimum of 30 seconds for eligible calls; always hang up if a person answers.

Scout SIM refunds and extra SIMs

Only one eligible Scout SIM refund per carrier per month is allowed. Report rewards apply to the eligible SIM for that carrier and month. Extra SIMs do not earn additional report rewards or refunds, but a qualifying discovery can still earn the route-promotion reward and ongoing share. Rewards do not reimburse your carrier charges.

Runner confirmations and review

Confirm participation daily and use your device’s registered SIM with the matching plan. Check that the destination is covered and compare the reward with your carrier costs. Rewards may be held for review for up to seven days.

Call records and ScoutQuest

Scout and Runner records call metadata, such as the number, duration and outcome, rather than audio or call content. ScoutQuest is a separate task for researching local prepaid plans; it is not a calling role.
